LHC 101 – Saturday, December 1st – 9:00am-12:00pm – Have you been visiting for a while and wonder if Living Hope is where God’s calling you? This informal class is for you! Our Elder Team shares Living Hope’s history, mission and life in a casual environment that includes snacks, coffee &  childcare. RSVP by replying to this email to let us know you’re interested & if you need childcare.

Décor Party – Sunday, December 2nd – right after the service – Have you got a little time after the service on Sunday? Plan to stay for a little while to deck some halls and trim some boughs. It never takes long and is always fun. Let Julie, Heather Cotten or Elisa Cox know if you can help.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Warehouse – Friday, Dec. 7th 2-10pm and Saturday, Dec. 15th 9-5pm Chris Hubbard has secured two opportunities for volunteers (5 people, the 7th/7 people, the 15th) to work at the Shoebox Warehouse in Charlotte to help get prepared shoeboxes ready for shipment around the world. Get with Chris or Lindsay Hubbard for details and let them know you’re interested. Find their contact info in Memberhub.

Christmas Party – Sunday, December 9th, 5:00-8:00pm – Plans are underway for the feast of the year! Mark your calendars, invite friends and family. It’s always a great kick-off of the holiday season. Look for details coming soon!

Cookie Exchange – Saturday, December 15th, 6:30-9:00pm – Heather Ellis is hosting a sweet, sweet evening at her place. Come hang out with our other awesome ladies. Bake or buy a batch of your favorite cookies to share. Crazy schedule? Don’t worry about bringing cookies, come and take a break the best way, with cookies and friends. Christmas Eve Service – Monday, December 24th – 6:00-7:00pm – A great LHC tradition.  We meet for a short, 1-hour service filled with singing, hugs, and candles.  What’s not to like?  It’s always a warm and fuzzy time that really gets your Christmas started off right.  We keep it light and brief, and always start and end on time.

Food Pantry – Let’s get the Food Pantry stocked for the holidays. We’re low on canned meats, pasta sauce and breakfast foods. Please bring items in and place on the table in the kitchen for Heidi to organize.
