New This Week

Family Meeting for Living Hopefuls, Sunday, May 24th, 8pm via Google Meet – Your elder team is calling a family meeting. We will meet by video conferencing. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss our plans for having worship services in person again – when and how.  We want to use this format instead of a one-way announcement so that you can ask your questions. Link to the meeting: https://meet.google.com/etr-vvti-rgx

This isn’t a public meeting for friends, family, guests, etc.  Like other such meetings we have had in the past, if you consider yourself a member of LHC then come on in.  It’s not secret, but it’s not public either (and will not be put on YT or Facebook).

Phase One – What next? – Ben recently put together a video discussing Living Hope’s initial thoughts on reopening. If you haven’t watched it, here’s the link (you may have to cut and paste the link into your browser): https://youtu.be/jzAdouP0rKs

Survey – Living Hope Leadership wants to hear your thoughts about reopening. Please take a few minutes to let them know how you feel about reopening by filling out this survey (you may have to cut and paste the link into your browser):  https://forms.gle/xvjsQTCWPtE4TSSVA

Memberhub Please update your contact information – address, phone numbers & email address. This will be the church’s main means of communication during this time. We’re sending out lots of text reminders and links to online functions – if you’re not receiving text messages and would like to – log in to Memberhub and update your profile.

COVID19 Benevolence – Since the virus crisis began – we’ve been able, through the Body’s generosity – to establish a fund to provide monetary assistance. If you have or know of someone with a financial need, you can fill out a Benevolence Request. Place your curser over this link and hit “enter” to access the online form: COVID-19 Benevolence Request. Someone will reply letting you know form has been received and then again after submission to our Benevolence Committee.

Need groceries or know someone who does? Coordinate pick up or delivery of a bag of groceries. If you have questions, have or know of a grocery need or want to help – contact Charles Wood via email (charleswood320@gmail.com) or text 912-438-3351.

We’re still collecting grocery items to bag up. Please limit donations to the following:

Canned fruit, veggies & beans / Canned tuna or chicken / Bags or boxes of rice

You’ll find a labelled bin near the back door. Drop off ANY TIME. Volunteers are stopping by throughout the week to gather, sanitize and shelf your donations.

Giving – THANK YOU FOR GIVING! Your faithfulness and generosity continue to bless Living Hope each week. Currently, we have three ways to give:

Daily Prayer Where You Are @ 9pm – Set a reminder and be part of a global prayer time each night – pray as the Lord leads you – COVID, your family, friends, our nation and leaders, job, schoolwork, etc. Knowing others are praying with us strengthens our prayer and faith for answers!

Prayer Meeting – Mondays, 7pm – Please join us online for extended prayer and praise. We’d love to see your smiling and prayerful faces. Join Hangouts Meet meet.google.com/vag-mwbo-aff or join by phone ‪+1 786-681-1991 PIN: ‪159 909 927#. Questions? Reply to this email.
