Hold onto your Santa hat! We are planning a whopping December to say Happy Birthday, Jesus!!

Men’s Get-Together – Saturday, Dec. 2nd from 4:00-7:00pm – Paul Bowen is planning a fun time here at the church building to include grilling, boiled peanuts and cornhole. Please bring a donation to help toward the cost of the food. Join him and some other fine fellows for a great evening of Manly Awesomeness. Living Hope Christmas Party – Sunday, Dec. 3rd, 5:00- 8:00pm – Mark your calendars for the best fete of the year! Check out the Whiteboard on the Everyone hub to sign up for a food item and to help. This is a magnificent evening to include friends and family! Optional Games include White Elephant/Dirty Santa wrapped gift ($10 limit), Ugly Sweater and a couple of Guessing Games. If you’re contributing to the feast, please have your food items here and ready to serve by 4:45.

Kid’s Christmas Pajama Party – Friday,Dec. 8th, 6:30-8:30pm – If you have kids 2 years old thru 5th grade, then this is the party for them! Let Kristina know if your kiddos will attend. You can drop your Christmas themed or colored pajama-clad babies off at 6:30 and pick them back up at 8:30; after you’ve done some shopping or you can stay while their party is going on. We’ll play a gift exchange game, so please bring a gender-neutral wrapped gift ($5.00 limit). Food, games, sweet treats and crafts will also be on the night’s menu. Cookie Exchange – Saturday, Dec. 16th, 7:00-9:00pm – Heather Ellis is hosting a Christmas Cookie Exchange for the cookie bakers (or cookie eaters) among us. Bring a batch of your favorite cookies (holiday or otherwise) and a dozen copies of the recipe to share. Check the Memberhub directory for Heather’s address and directions to her home.

Christmas Caroling – Tuesday, Dec. 19th, at 7:00pm – The Nagle Hope Community will be ringing in the season for the residents of Bradford Village West (on Piney Grove Road, just up from the Old Lowes/Amalfi’s shopping center). We’ll meet in the lobby of the nursing home at 7:00 pm, and hope you can join us. Let Debby Alston know if you can come!

Christmas Program – Sunday, Dec. 17th, 10:00am – Seeing kids take part in a Christmas program is on everyone’s Christmas list – today is the day for celebrating the birth of Jesus with shy toddlers, sheep, wise men, a manger and the Christmas story. Don’t miss this cuteness overload! Let Kristina Rios, Heather Cotten or Debby Alston know if your little one wants to participate. They’ll be rehearsing on Sunday mornings til the 17th. Please have your kiddos here by 9:30 the morning of the 17th for a quick run-through in the auditorium.

Christmas Eve Service – Sunday, Dec. 24th, 10:00am – We’ll gather together on Christmas Eve Morning for a special service to celebrate the gift of Jesus to the world! Invite your family, friends and neighbors to be part of a delightful time! We won’t have a service on the evening of the 24th.
