Hope Communities began THIS week – Our Hope Communities are small groups that meet once a week to fellowship and discuss the Word.  These groups allow for a connection with others that is just not possible on Sunday morning. If you’re on the fence, we encourage you to make room for a Hope Community in your life. You will not regret it! This is your personal invitation; we WANT to connect with you.  We have groups meeting at church or in local homes on Monday thru Thursday nights. It’s NEVER too late to sign up. Reply to this email with your contact info and we’ll get you plugged in to a group.

Bible Club – September 18th @ Living Hope, right after the service – You may or may not know that a group of us at LHC have been reading the Bible through the year 2022. We have read a little over half of the Bible so far, but it’s never too late to join us for the rest of it! Every 2 weeks we meet after church to discuss what we’ve been reading, and while that’s not mandatory it’s very encouraging and helpful to meet with your brothers and sisters who are reading the same word of God that you are. (Plus, we get lunch!) You may be thinking to yourself, “But I’ve already missed half the readings!” But (spoiler alert) the rest of the Bible is just as awesome and applicable to your walk with the Lord!

Men’s Discipleship – Sunday, Sept. 25th @ Living Hope, 6:30pm – Men, our summer break is over and we’re beginning our bi-weekly bible study and discipleship group. We’ll pick up where we left off in our review of Dietrich Boenhoffer’s “Discipleship.” Please consider prioritizing this time for study and discipleship. We’ll be planning a few more men’s events as well and look forward to seeing God move in our lives as men of God.

Ladies’ Open House – Saturday, Oct. 1st, 6:30pm – Gals, we NEED to get together and so we are! The plan is for us to bring hors d’oeuvres to share, enjoy some fellowship and find out what’s happening this year with our Dwell Women’s Ministry. Please plan on coming. We’ll meet at Leslie Elswick’s home (8706 Drummond Estates Drive, Kernersville). If you need a sitter, reply to this email and we’ll make sure childcare is covered.
