New This Week

Thank YOU, Un-decorators! – Chantal and crew did a wonderful job breaking down Christmas! Thank you to all who were able to stay and help! And a special shout out to Colten, who vacuumed up the tree debris!

Breaking the Fast and Prayer Meeting – Wednesday, January 17th @ 6:30pm – Ben acknowledged the newness of the year with a sermon on January 7th entitled “Godly Resolve in 2018.” As a point of action from the sermon, we are fasting as a church for a week. Please check your email for details regarding the fast. Ben sent a message out on 01/09. Tonight (the 17th), we’ll gather as a church body to intentionally break our fast with a meal and a prayer meeting. Nursery will be provided.

LHC 101 – Saturday, January 27th 9am-12am – Have you attended LHC two, ten or 1,000 Sundays (yep, there are a few of us floating around)? Our LHC 101 meeting is a great opportunity to find out what Living Hope Church is all about. Our Elder Team gathers to share about different aspects of LHC history, mission, life. Light snacks are served in a casual, interactive setting. This is a great time to ask any questions you might have about Living Hope. Please RSVP to any elder (Ben, Allen, Jamie, Vic or Charlie Davis) if you’d like to attend. With advance notice, childcare is provided.

Want to serve at LHC but not sure how? – There are several positions that could use a few good people (that’s you, by the way). Our Usher and Monitor, AV and Youth Teams have openings that you might just be perfect for. Talk to Susan if you’re interested in helping out at Living Hope. Anyone who serves as a Monitor – please sign up in the kitchen – new calendar for 2018 is posted.

Benevolence Policy – Did you know that we had such a thing? Well, we do. If you have or know of a need, you can access our policy and forms thru Memberhub. They’re uploaded to the Files section of the Everyone hub. We also have information in the Admin Office, just ask Susan if you’d like to find out more about how Benevolence works at LHC.
