New This Week

Chili Cook Off – THIS SUNDAY, right after the service – Have you got a favorite chili recipe tucked in your recipe box? If so, this is the pot luck for you! Our finest cooks (and we’ve got a few!) bring a crock pot of their most delicious chili to compete for the informal (but never forgotten) title of LHC Chili Master; a coveted award amongst a group of people who repent after the winner is announced. For those who only want to enjoy the taste-testing, there are myriads of supporting food items to be supplied. You’ll find a Whiteboard on the Everyone hub to sign up for a pot of chili and/or an accompanying side, drink or dessert.

Ladies’ Worship Night – Saturday, March 10th 7:00-8:30pm @ LHC – Hosted by Pauline DeLeo and Heather Ellis, this will be an unstructured, informal event designed for our ladies to come with an open heart, listen, and rest. Pauline and Heather will be ministering through contemporary Christian music, original music, and spontaneous songs.  There will be no song words available, but you are welcome to sing as you know songs and feel comfortable.  Bring your Bible and an open and hungry heart.  Please let Heather Ellis or Pauline know if you have any questions.

Teen Challenge Meal – Saturday, March 17th, 3:00-6:00pm –  We’ll be feeding and fellowshipping with the Teen Challenge guys. Kris Stack will have a Whiteboard set up on Memberhub in the next few days. Connecting with these guys is always a blessing for everyone involved!

EARTH DAY – Friday, April 20th, 9:00am-4:00pm – Event sponsored by Seed2Seed and hosted at Living Hope Church. Stop by during the day and check out different ways to steward our planet. If you’d like to help out that day, get with Chantal Mullen and she’ll put you to work! Call or text her: 336.817.8875.

Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center Walk for Life, Saturday, April 28th – Amy Black is our point person and she’ll be letting us know about this year’s event. Put the date on your calendar now, so you can join us walking to support babies and families in the Triad this year.

Want to serve at LHC but not sure how? – There are several positions that could use a few good people (that’s you, by the way). Our Usher and Monitor, AV and Youth Teams have openings that you might just be perfect for. Talk to Susan if you’re interested in helping out at Living Hope.
