New This Week

LHC 101 – Saturday, August 17th, 9am-12pm – This meeting is a great opportunity to find out what Living Hope Church is all about. Our Elder Team and other ministry leaders gather to share about different aspects of LHC history, mission, life.  Light snacks are served in a casual, interactive setting. This is a great time to ask any questions you might have about Living Hope. Two ways to register: reply to this email or go to hope336.com. Childcare is provided.

Hot Dog & Ice Cream Social – Sun, 09/01, 12:30-3:00 @ 4th of July Park, shelter 1 Jolie has planned a fun end-of-summer bash for us. After the service, head over to Fourth of July Park (corner of Bodenhamer/66 & Mountain St.) and enjoy a picnic in the park. There’s a Whiteboard set up to sign up for sides. Invite friends and neighbors to lunch at the park!

Ladies’ Evening Bible Study – Sunday, September 8th, 6:30-8:00pm – We’re approaching the study differently this season, with single night teachings held weekly on Sunday evenings. Come when you can, enjoy getting into God’s Word with your LHC sisters. Childcare provided.

Ladies’ Summer Share & Worship Night – Saturday, Sept. 14th, 6:30-9:30pm – Join us for this wonderful evening! We worship, we pray, we connect with God and each other. Two of our own will share a bit of what God has laid on their hearts for us. Bring your Bible and an open and hungry heart.

Camping Trip – Friday, Sept. 20-21 – We’re heading to Morrow Mountain for hiking, camp songs, s’mores and all the FUN that comes with camping!  The state park is about 1.5 hours south of KVL. Details to follow as the weekend gets closer. Talk to Amy Black or Susan Spencer if you’d like to get to the woods for a weekend.
