Sunday Service Time – 10:30am, Online & IN-PERSON – We’re so thrilled to open our doors again for Sunday worship at the building and hope you’ll join us if you are comfortable doing so! We’ll still be streaming live online via our YouTube channel, “Living Hope Church NC.” Please join us on the live chat before the service and say “Hi” to some church family you might be missing and let’s worship together, in person or online. Our ushers need your help – on Saturdays at 10:30am – we send out a reminder email about Sunday’s service – when you see that email, can you scroll down to the bottom of the email and RSVP? This will help us get the chairs set up to accommodate everyone who attends in person on Sunday.

Gals’ Getaway – Friday – Sunday, Sept. 25-27 – North Myrtle Beach, SC – PLENTY of room left if you’d like to get away for a few days next weekend. Right before Covid restrictions began back in March, we reserved a house at Myrtle Beach for a retreat in September. We’re not able to reschedule or get a refund, so we’re offering up the chance for interested and able gals to get away for a chill weekend. Cost is $120.00. Food Ministry Outreach – NEXT Sunday, September 20th, 1pm – We’re going out next week and hope you can join us! Our team is continuing to build relationships in the community, share the gospel, and pray with folks in need as we hand out the food that you all have donated.  We prep the grocery bags on the Thursday evenings before we distribute, so if you’d like to help with bag prep on Thursday, September 17th, join us at the church building at 7pm.

THANK YOU for supporting our ministry. Please continue to drop off food donations in the box located at the church entrance adjacent to the playground. The amount of food donated directly impacts the number of people we can reach.  Here is what is needed to support each food distribution done every other week:

25 bags of rice / 25 cans of fruit / 50 cans of beans / 100 cans of veggies

50 cans of tuna or chicken / 25 bags of masa flour (for tortillas)

NEW COMMUNICATION PLATFORM – We’ve switched over to Planning Center from Memberhub and hopefully you’ve been able to log in and are receiving our email communications. The Church Center phone App is highly recommended, it becomes a dedicated Messenger App for convenient phone-based communication. Please contact Susan Spencer if you have any questions or run into any problems.

3.     On your Android or iPhone – download the app “Church Center” which will enhance your LHC communication experience. It’s a “Messenger” style App, available to Living Hopefuls only.          

COVID19 Benevolence – Since the virus crisis began – we’ve been able, through the Body’s generosity – to establish a fund to provide monetary assistance. If you have or know of someone with a financial need, you can fill out a Benevolence Request. Place your curser over this link and hit “enter” to access the online form: COVID-19 Benevolence Request. Someone will reply letting you know form has been received and then again after submission to our Benevolence Committee.
