Youth Retreat Fundraiser RESULTS! – Boy does our community love tacos! Your generosity brought in over $1,000.00 to help many of our youth head to Confluence’s New Day Youth Retreat in Tennessee next month! Thank you so much for blessing our teens and THANK YOU Rioses and youth for putting on a great event!
Mozambique Trip – June 19th thru 29th – Saints, we have three people planning on going to Mozambique and are very excited that some of our own can serve this year. This trip will cost approximately $3,300.00 per person. If you’d like to support this year’s mission financially, you can donate to the church, notating “Moz 2022” with your donation. Funds will be divided among our three travelers. Thank you for your support of Living Hope’s Moz ‘22 missionaries!
Celebration! – July 15th thru 17th @ Ridgecrest Conference Center, near Asheville, NC – This annual regional gathering for Confluence’s southeast churches is a fantastic time of worship, teaching and fellowship for the whole family! Not just for leadership, but for all. We think this conference is so important, we cancel our local service that weekend. Youth Retreat Fundraiser (Rios Tacos, YUM!) – Friday, May 6th, 6:00-9:00pm – In June, our youth & youth leaders are joining other Confluence Youth at a retreat in Tennessee. They’ve got a Taco Event planned to raise funds to help cover camp costs. Stop by for an order to-go or hang around and enjoy a picnic featuring the BEST TACOS YOU’LL EVER EAT – prepped by our own Israel and Kristina Rios. Let Kristina know that you’re coming (336.232.2900) so we don’t run out of TACOS!

**Mozambique Fundraiser** – Wow! You awesome people love your desserts and love to bless our Mozambique travelers! Our Dessert Donations totaled over $1,225.00! Thank you so much for your support of this year’s trip!
Greensboro Pregnancy Network Walk for Life – Saturday, April 30th 8:30am -11:00am – We have an opportunity to participate in our local Pregnancy Care Center’s annual fundraiser walk in Greensboro. If you’d like to join the walk this year, reply to this email, or contact Susan (336.817.0141) or Kathleen (336.830.4392) and we will get you registered with our team.

The Pig! – THIS Saturday, April 23rd, 5pm @ Living Hope – We’re excited to get back together after too long a hiatus to roast a pig and hang out. We’re starting the pig roast about 12:30 and it should be ready around 5:30. We’re hoping you can come join in the fun! Got some cool “guy stuff” planned. Please RSVP by replying to this email or responding in the email reminder (sent out last Saturday), so that we can plan enough grub for the occasion. **Mozambique Fundraiser** – Guys, while you’re enjoying your hang out on Saturday afternoon, leave room for dessert – we’ll have a table of sweets available for donations. All donations will go toward our trip this year. Bring some cash to help support this year’s travelers.

Colossians Study – Sunday, Nov. 28th, 6:30pm @ Living Hope – This Sunday, we’re completing a great study of Colossians and Philemon. We’ll be breaking for the holidays and plan on beginning a new study in January. Hope you can join us in the new year.
Sunday School for our 3rd thru 7th graders, Nov. 28th – Gloria Cotten is teaching a limited series of lessons, geared to our youngsters, on the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month for the next several months. The kids will join her after worship in one end of the hallway.
LHC Christmas Party – Sunday, Dec. 12th, 5:30pm –So far, we have a Christmas Potluck, Talent Show, Group games and Caroling planned. Look for a sign-up sheet via email for food items. This party is such a fun time, you’ll want to invite friends and family. It’s not too late to help, so get with Heather Cotten if you’d like to pitch in. We’ll have sitters & activities planned for our kiddos here at the building, as well.

Worship & Prayer Night – Wednesday, Oct. 27th, 7pm @ Living Hope – This month, Living Hopefuls have been fasting and praying with a focus on Spiritual Renewal – personal, corporate, global. We’ll culminate the month by coming together for a night of worship and prayer. Small groups are cancelled this week to allow everyone to attend the Worship and Prayer Night. Childcare is provided.

The theme for the next few months will be “Life in the Holy Spirit” and the meetings are open to all. Living Hope Church is a non-denominational gathering of Christians that worship Jesus and want to show the community what God is like. We are made up of people from Greensboro, Winston Salem, High Point, Kernersville, and all points across the Triad region of North Carolina.
