Do Not Pass Judgment – Romans, Week 20

 

Romans 14:1-12

The Holy Spirit, through Paul’s letter to the Roman church, has been instructing us to love one another.

In our text this morning, we will see Paul address some specific issues that were dividing the church in Rome.

Disagreement over these issues had split the church into two groups. We may not relate directly to the specific concerns, but all of us can relate to disagreements over matters of conscience. This is a question of Christian liberty, and how we can have unity and disagreement at the same time.
