The King of Love

The King of Love

This Christmas Sunday sermon teaches that God’s love is far deeper and more complex than our everyday use of the word, revealing a love that is multifaceted, self-giving, and ultimately demonstrated in Jesus loving His enemies through the cross.

Jesus defines true love as loving God fully and loving others—including enemies—with the same sacrificial care we give ourselves, a kind of love we cannot produce on our own. The good news of Christmas is that God runs toward us in Christ, calling us to stop striving, receive His love, and allow that love to flow through us to others.
