The King of Peace

The King of Peace

This sermon teaches that biblical peace (shalom) is not merely a feeling but God’s restoring order to chaos—both objectively through reconciliation with God and subjectively within our hearts. Humanity lost that peace through sin, but Jesus, the prophesied Servant and Prince of Peace, took our chastisement upon himself so that his faithfulness and righteousness could be credited to us.

True, unshakable peace comes only from being reconciled to God through Christ, and when we remember that our standing with God rests in him—not our performance—peace returns even in the midst of life’s chaos.
