The Spirit & Mission

The Spirit & Mission

Acts 10:1-33

In Part II of our exploration of Peter’s visit to Cornelius in Acts 10, we focus on the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.

Throughout church history, we have been divided over the Spirit. On one end is the error of sacramentalizing the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. On the other end is the error of acting as if the Spirit doesn’t exist at all.

But both are just different forms of shallow Christianity. Amazing power encounters, without the daily fruit of the Spirit, is not “Spirit filled”. Solid doctrine without the power of the Spirit, is not “solid, historic, Christianity”.
