The primary way Living Hope Church is organized for relationships and for mission is through Hope Communities. These are small groups of people, committed to each other and whatever mission field God has called them to reach together.
If you want to get more involved in the life of the church, this is the way to do it.
We don’t want to only be taught the Bible (which is vital). We also need to personally interact and wrestle with it ourselves. We do this in HC’s by discussing scripture together instead of having a typical teaching.
Making friends is absolutely essential in the plan of Jesus for His Church. We truly are a spiritual family that bears one another’s burdens. It takes a small group of people to do this in a meaningful, lasting way.
Prayer opens doors. Prayer accomplishes the work. Prayer honors God and bear’s one another’s burdens. Each Hope Community is committed to praying together regularly.
Each group is committed to a mission field that they are actively working to serve. The goal is to simply demonstrate to others what Jesus is truly like. Our goal is for each group to be filled with missionary-minded Christians.
Every time a HC meets, we want to try to accomplish all of those goals mentioned above. It isn’t always possible, but it is our goal.
Each group has its own personality, but they all share the same essential elements of Word, Fellowship, Prayer, and Mission.
Join a Hope Community
The best way to get into a group is to get on Planning Center and join there. Secondarily, you can simply contact the church office via email or phone and get connected to a group at a convenient time and location.
Living Hope Church is a non-denominational gathering of Christians that worship Jesus and want to show the community what God is like. We are made up of people from Greensboro, Winston Salem, High Point, Kernersville, and all points across the Triad region of North Carolina.
