If you haven’t already, browse the “About Us” section of the website to learn about who we are, what we believe, and what we are trying to do. If you have profound differences with us in doctrine or philosophy of ministry, it’s best to find that out early.
Church life isn’t primarily about receiving. It’s about giving of yourself to see God’s kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. It is our desire that your life be used for more than consuming, but be given in service to God and His Church in whatever capacity He has called you.
Church life is more than a meeting, but it is not less than. Gathering together to worship in Spirit and Truth is a vital part of the Christian life. We need each other, and God has promised to meet with us in a special way when we gather in His name.
Part of being a part of a community is staying in the loop of communication. If you don’t know what’s going on, you will soon feel left out even if it is not intentional. Communication will always be a challenge, so we use a tool to help called Planning Center (with the accompanying mobile app Church Center).
True spiritual family cannot be nurtured, and disciples made, only in the context of a large Sunday gathering. There isn’t enough face-to-face time available for that. One of the things that made the early Church so successful was that they met “house to house”. Everyone needs to know and be known.
Hope Communities are not an add-on ministry to Living Hope. It is the central mechanism for life and ministry here.
Once a quarter we offer a class that we call “LHC 101”. The leadership of Living Hope gather with whoever is interested to do short talks on various aspects of life at Living Hope Church. It is very relaxed and informal and designed for a lot of easy interaction between newcomers and the elders of the church. It’s a fantastic forum to ask questions and get to know other people in your same situation.
Keep an eye on the calendar for the next event!
We aren’t interested in recruiting. We want you to find the church home where you belong. This attitude frees all of us up to ask questions, pray, and listen to God’s voice together.
Living Hope Church is a non-denominational gathering of Christians that worship Jesus and want to show the community what God is like. We are made up of people from Greensboro, Winston Salem, High Point, Kernersville, and all points across the Triad region of North Carolina.
